The Unit圓D gaming engine has a set of minimum requirements that your home computer must meet in order to function properly. Please note that there is additional information that the course attendee is required have with them at the start of the course (see “Important!” section below). This process covers the following pre-course steps to ensure the attendee’s computer is set-up correctly for Unit圓D:
For the purposes of attending this educational event, the Unit圓D software requires a Personal License which can be downloaded for free. Depending on the modules to be installed, the Unity software can take up to 1GB of hard drive space. 
The installation is mainly unattended (assuming you have enough hard drive space)
Before you start: This set-up process can take hours (e.g., on slower computers), however your attention is usually only needed for the first 10-15 minutes of the installation. This course requires that your home computer is set-up correctly to enable the attendee gain the most from the course. To ensure that there are no delays at the start of your course, we recommend that your home computer is set-up with the Unit圓D games development engine a few days prior to the course starting. Once Unity Hub is installed, you’ll want to open it and sign in with a Unity account before doing anything else. Due to this, people who work on multiple game projects simultaneously often have multiple versions of Unity installed on their computer, as each project will often use a different version of Unity. If you’re wondering why you’ll need different versions of Unity on your computer, it’s because upgrading Unity during the development of a game project can be disruptive - game projects usually involve multiple people working together, and if one person upgrades their Unity version, everyone will have to do the same to maintain compatibility with the project files. It helps you manage, download and install different versions of Unity, and its accompanying sub-modules on your computer. Run it to install Unity Hub on your computer. This should download an installer called UnityHubSetup.exe.
